The David Guitar House has been cited by the National Historic Register as "a near perfect example of Late Victorian Italianate architecture in the Midwestern U.S. of the mid-nineteenth century." This simple yet elegant "farmer's mansion" has been maintained and restored over the decades to its most recent presentation as a modern B&B. Threatened by urban encroachment, the house and grounds continue to be an oasis of serenity where human and natural history are preserved. The house can be easily returned to its original use as a private family residence. Please call Julianne Ramsey at 573-239-0183 or 1-800-895-4430 for sales information and click here for a visual tour visit.

Baker Plantation House

Historic Baker Plantation House (ca. 1853) is a substantial two-story brick residence in Federal Transitional style.  Missouri home of Unionist legislator Sylvester Baker, it survived attempted burning by Confederate guerillas during the infamous Danville Raid of October 14, 1864.  This antebellum home (approx. 3,780 sq.ft.) retains its original construction features.  Some 4.6 acres (zoned commercial) remain of the original plantation, which were last used as a heritage tourism site for Civil War reenactments alongside visitation of the home as a period museum.  The property includes a converted barn/antique store and converted smokehouse/cafe.  On National Register of Historic Places.

Please call Julianne Ramsey at 573-239-0183 or 1-800-895-4430 for sales information or click here for a visual tour visit.
